Assalamu Alaikum

Assalamu Alaikum

The Salafi Da'wah (da'wah literally means "call", and in this sense it refers to calling to the truth, preaching and propagation) is that of the Qur'an and the Sunnah (i.e. the Religion of Islam - pure and free from any and all additions, deletions and alterations). It means adherence to the Path of the Messenger, may the peace of Allah upon him, and the Faithful Believers, namely the Pious Forefathers (i.e. As-Salaf as-Saalih) of the Islamic Community of Believers and all those who follow in their footsteps in belief, actions and morals.

Allah has said: And whoever contends with and contradicts the Messenger after guidance has been clearly conveyed to him and chooses a path other than that of the Faithful Believers, We shall leave him in the Path he has chosen and land him in Hell, what an evil refuge! [Surah al-Nisaa' 4:115]

Shaikh-ul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah commented on this verse: "All who contradict and oppose the Messenger after the right path has been clearly shown to them, have followed other than the Path of the Believers; and all who follow other than the Path of the Believers have contradicted and opposed the Messenger after the right Path has been shown to them. If one thinks that he is following the Path of the Faithful Believers and is mistaken, he is in the same position as one who thinks he is following the Messenger and is mistaken."

Who are the Salaf and who are the Salafis?

The Pious Forefathers (i.e. As-Salaf as-Saalih) of the Islamic Community of Believers are the Companions of the Prophet, peace be upon him, their Followers (the Taabi'een and the Taabi Taabi'een (i.e. the first three generations of Muslims) and the Scholars of the Ahl-us-Sunnah wal-Jamaa'ah after them who followed their way in belief and deed. Among them are :

Imam Abu Hanifah (150 AH), Al-Awzai (157 AH), Ath-Thawri (161AH), Al Laith ibn Saad (175 AH), Imam Malik (179 AH), Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak (181 AH), Sufyan ibn Uyainah (198 AH), Imam Ash-Shafi'i (204 AH), Ishaq (238 AH), Imam Ahmed bin Hanbal (241 AH), Al-Bukhari (256 AH), Muslim (261 AH), Abu Dawood (275 AH) and others.

Ibn Taymiyyah (728 AH), and his students: Adh-Dhahabi (748 AH), Ibn al-Qayyim (751 AH), Ibn Katheer (774 AH) and others.

Muhammed bin 'Abd al-Wahhab (1206 AH) and many of his students.

And in our time: Abdul Aziz bin Baz, Muhammed bin Saalih Uthaimeen, Muhammed Naasir-ud-Deen al-Albaani.

The Salafis are the Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamaa'ah. They are the Taaifatul- Mansoorah (the Aided, Victorious Group) and the Firqatun-Naajiyyah (the Saved Sect) which have been mentioned in the following statements of the Messenger, peace be upon him:

"There shall not cease to remain a single group from my community upon the Truth, victorious; they are unharmed by those who abandon them and those who oppose them. They will remain (in my community and in such a state) until they fight the liar (i.e. the Anti-Christ (Dajjal)." [Reported in Sahih Muslim]

"Verily those before you from among the People of the Book split into seventy-two sects and verily this religion . . . "

and in another narration

" . . . this Ummah will split into seventy-three sects: seventy-two will be in the Fire and one in Paradise and that is the Jamaa'ah." [Reported by Abu Daawood - Sahih]

"And this Ummah will divide into seventy-three sects all of which except one will go to Hell and they (i.e. the Saved Sect) are those who are upon what I and My Companions are upon (i.e. those who follow My Way and the Way of my Companions.)" [Reported by at-Tirmidhee - Hasan]

Why do we call ourselves Salafis?
The name Salafi refers to the one who attaches himself to that group of people about whom the Prophet , peace be upon him, said: "The best of people is my generation, then those who come after them, then those who come after them (i.e. the first three generations of Muslims)." [Reported by Bukhari and Muslim - Mutawaatir]. This attachment is not to a single person or persons (i.e. scholars), which is the case of many groups present today. It is not an attachment to a person or even tens of people, but to that which will not err, since it is impossible that the Salaf would unite upon error or misguidance. So in his subscribtion to the way of the Salaf, the Salafi has attached himself to that which cannot go wrong. This is taken from the hadith: "My Ummah will not unite upon error." [Reported by at-Tirmidhee and Haakim - Sahih], and it is not correct that this hadith refers to the people of later ages, since it was only in the era of the Prophet, peace be upon him, and his Companions that the Ummah was free from widespread division and deviation. The deviant sects separated themselves from the Jamaa'ah after them, and from that time onwards their was disunity.

The previous ahaadeeth about the Taaifat- ul-Mansoorah (the Aided Group) and the Firqat-un-Naajiyah (the Saved Sect) show who is meant in this hadith, i.e. those who have the outlook and follow the way of the original guided and united group, the first three generations of Muslims: As-Salaf as- Saalih

The fate of the moon in the Holy Quran and science

The fate of the moon in the Holy Quran and science
Modern astrophysics , depending on accurate calculations , says that both the moon and the sun will be joined someday . The Holy Quran , in reference to the Doomsday , stresses the same fact .
Here is an article from Nasa that explains how all it will begin : the study says " Our Sun is made up of more than billions and billons of tons of matter. As a result, all of that matter produces a huge amount of gravitational force that squeezes the star more and more inward. In order to combat the inward crush from the gravitational force, The Sunutilizes fusion power to hold themselves up. At the Sun’s core, where the crush is most extreme, Hydrogen nuclei are repeatedly pushed together and combined to form Helium. A small amount of energy is given up in these fusion reactions. The newly formed energy flows outward toward the Sun’s surface heating the outer layers in the process and puffing the Sun up to counteract the inward force of gravity. According to scientists, as long as the Hydrogen fusion reactions are functioning as they have in the past, the Sun is safe from gravity and can continue to serve as a source of heat and light for Earth. Unfortunately, the hydrogen fuel of the Sun can’t last forever. All good things eventually come to an end. In approximately five billion years from now, the Hydrogen at the center of the Sun will all be converted to Helium. At this point, the Sun will begin die. The Holy Quran refers to this stage in the life of the sun , God says in the Holy Quran what means " When the sun (with its spacious light) is folded up " [81: 1]This is a matchless ****phor for causing the sun to lose its light. Takwir means to fold up; hence takwir al- `amamah for folding up the turban on the head. Here, the light which radiates from the sun and spreads throughout the solar system has been likened to the turban and it has been said that on the Resurrection Day the turban will be folded up about the sun and its radiation will fade. Many Astronomers also believe that this will also start the beginning of trouble on our planet. Without its Hydrogen, the Sun has to find an alternate way to free up energy and combat gravity. The Helium deposits in its core can be fused into Carbon and Oxygen, but only if the conditions in The Sun’s core become much more extreme. In order for this to happen, the Sun changes in a very radical way. The core contracts and, even more importantly, the outer layers swell. When the Sun reaches its maturity, it will begin to bloat and swallow all the inner planets including the moon .
Another scientists says " The Sun is midway through its stable hydrogen burning phase known as the main sequence. But when the Sun enters the red giant phase in around 5 billion years things are going to get a lot rougher in the Earth-Moon system. "During the red giant phase the Sun will swell until its distended atmosphere reaches out to envelop the Earth and Moon
The Holy Quran refers to this stage in the following Holy Verse ; God says in the Holy Quran what means " And the sun and moon are joined together," Joined together ….doesn’t science say that ? Yes , it does …..so who told Mohummed …..He must be God , the creator of the universe …….it must be God who knows all the secrets of the universe …SO the Holy Quran is surely a Divine Book . When the moon is so close to the sun , the outer crust will expand and broke into pieces , exactly like when the earth when undergoes an earth quake . The Holy quran mentions this stage in the following verse "When the planets are scattered" It is scientifically known that the stars are planets .
The moon is moving towards the sun
How was the moon near to the earth billions of years ago billion years ago, the Moon was much closer to Earth than it will be tonight. Its tighter orbit meant it needed just 20 days to go around us, to make a lunar month. Other things were noticeably different, too. A day on Earth back then was only 18 hours long.
The Moon is now moving away from Earth and by then will be in an orbit that’s about 40 percent larger than today. It will be the first to warp under the Sun’s influence. Today, the Moon is on average 239,000 miles (385,000 kilometres) away and has reached this point after a long and dramatic journey. How far does the moon go every year ? The Moon is being pushed away from Earth by 1.6 inches (4 centimeters) per year and our planet’s rotation is slowing. So the further the moon goes , the less its light till it meets the welloen atmosphere of the sun . The Holy Quran mention this scientific fact which implies that the moon is moving away from the earth ." And the moon is buried in darkness. " [ AL-Kayma :8] The moon will move away from the earth till it meets with the swollen sun ,thus collected or joined with the sun Unspeakable events will happen before the doomsday . Further , Quran tells us that the sun will attract or swallow the moon ; God says in the Holy Quran what means " And the sun and moon are joined together " [ AL-Kayma :8]
it is literally says that both the sun and the moon will be joined together . Numeric miracle : Astrophysics says that the moon and the sun are aligned (19) times in the year ; the word the moon and the sun are coupled or mentioned together(19) times . Though scientists calculate the period of cosmos events by millions and even billions of years , we would like to say that these are theoretical calculations . God has created certain laws that we don’t understand , An astrophysics says , likening the human knowledge of present scientists as those of kids in kindergarten . this means that human mind hasn’t got every thing . God says in the holy quran what means " of knowledge it is only a little that is communicated to you, (O men) [ Al-Asra :84] We want to say that such calculations may happen because of the other laws that we don’t know . Any way there is a conformity between what science and the Holy Quran says
In the intervening eons, the Moon has been drifting away. Each year, it moves about 1.6 inches (4 centimeters) farther intspace.
Can be a coincidence that such accurate facts in the holy Quran be in conformity with the newly discovered scientific facts ? If Mohummed is imposter , why did he leave the culture of his age ,though he received no culture . He could have won many people on his part , if he had mentioned the culture of his age . Who told him such highly scientific facts that highly qualified scientists ,after long –tiring search , came to? There is no doubt that Quran must be God’s word , who says in the Holy Quran what means " Should He not know, He that created? And He is the One that understands the finest mysteries (and) is well acquainted (with them). ( Al-Malek :14) What do you still in need to believe ? What evidence do you still in need to believe ? What can be called the unseen is turning to be seen You are running out of time , once the story of your life comes to an end , there will either permanent happiness or eternal perdition . It is time to win yourself "And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance." The word wandering is not an accurate translation , the word (Dala=wandering " has another meaning , it is the intended meaning , it means (loving ) In Arabic , excessive love makes the human wander aimlessly , nothing here or there to attract his attention but his beloved – that is the case with some Sufis Abu-Alyazedd, once filled the ecstasy of love towards god , so he wanderd till he entered into a field of sugarcane , already harvested , so the rest of remained as knives in the field , he walked on them , not feeling , his leg were severely wounded and bled so much , he was wandering not feeling of what happened –he bled all his blood till he died . This what happen when God manifests himself partly to the human heart Remember what happen to the mountain when God manifested Himself Also , remember when in Journey nigh the angel stopped at a certain point no able to move , he won’t be able to bear the lights of God’s glory –manifestation Only Mohummed was supplied by another power to bear As to prophet Mohummed , It is something unknown that was enshrined in his heart , this move him to wander , moved him to leave his wife , his tribe , all of the world , he left the world to live in a versy small cave in a very hot desert – for what , the verse answer him saying " we found you (Dala-wanderer ) and we did guide you

When Breaking Fast

When Breaking Fast

Allaahumma laka Sumtu Wa Bika Aamantu Wa `Alaa Rizqika Aftartu

O Allah, I have fasted for You and in You have I believed and with Your provision do I break my fast

The Holy month of Ramadhan is a great opportunity for all believers to reestablish their relationship with Almighty Allah . During this month, Allah opens the doors of guidance, mercy, and forgiveness and showers His blessings on mankind. Blessed are those who avail this opportunity and work hard to obtain the pleasure of Allah.

Following are some points to remember that may help us have a better Ramadan:

Sahoor: Rasulullah said, "Allah sends blessings on those who eat Sahoor (meal before Fajr) and the angels pray for them." (Ibn Habban) We should never miss Sahoor as it is blessed food and a Sunnah of the Prophet .

Then it is SEHRI/SAHOOR TIME which is the closing of the fast it is sunnah and very benefical to eat and drink somthing at this time

Rasulullah said, "Allah sends blessings on those who eat Sahoor (meal before Fajr) and the angels pray for them." (Ibn Habban) We should never miss Sahoor as it is blessed food and a Sunnah of the Prophet

Then eat a date and drink somthing some people them start eating fully others wait until after they have prayed Magrib Salaah ( i think the latter is best, just my opinion though) in the month of Ramadhan you should try and do extra ibadaat so after you Magrib salaah try and read some nafil nammaz called SALAATUL AWBEEN (Which is between 6-12 rakaats) insha'allah

Unfortunately, it is very common in many Masajid to sit and chat after iftaar. This time should be used for Nawafil prayers, recitation of the Holy Qur’an, Tasbeeh, and Dua. Masjid is the House of Allah . It must be given its due respect. Disrespecting the house of Allah is disrespect to Allah .

Raising the voice or talking of worldly matters in the Masjid is forbidden. It is the responsibility of every Muslim to maintain the order, silence, respect, and cleanliness in the Masjid.

Salat Al-Taraweeh: Perform twenty raka’ah of Taraweeh every night.

In this blessed month we read Salat Al-Taraweeh: Perform twenty raka’ah of Taraweeh every night
After Esha and Taraweeh prayers try to read some quran even if you cannot read arabic then read the english version insha'allah you should aim to finish atleast 1 whole quran in the month of ramadhan....

Salat Al-Tahajud: Other than Taraweeh, perform some raka’ah of Tahajud prayer.

Try to wake up early in the morning so you can read Salat Al-Tahajud This nafil salaah is so loved by allah swt it is said that this is a special time to make dua,

Dua: After Tahajud, spend some time making Dua for yourself, your family, the community, and the whole Muslim Ummah. This is extremely needed and very few do it. Every person in the family should engage in Dua and prayers in the darkness of the night and in isolation. Cry before Allah for forgiveness and for all of your needs.

Also wake up your children and teach them how to make Dua to Allah . Teach them how to cry before Allah , for those who do not cry before Allah will have to cry before people like themselves.

Crying and begging to Allah attracts His Mercy. Rasulullah encouraged his followers to cry when making Dua.

Perform the additional following ibadah:

1. Recite Istighfaar 100 times a day (i.e. Astaghfirallah)
2. Send blessing on Rasulullah 100 times a day
3. Tasbeehaat 100 times a day (i.e. Subhanallah Wal-Hamdulillah wala Illaha Illallah Wallahu Akbar)
4. Recite at least one Juz of the Qur’an every day

You should rinse your mouth out before closing your fast as this gets rid of the little bits of food still in our teeth, then you should close you fast with this dua

When begininng the fast

Wa bisawmi ghadinn nawaiytu min shahri ramadhan

I intend to keep a fast tomorrow in the month of Ramadhan

Read your fajr salaah then try and read more quran.

Then throught out the day try and read a certain amount of quran (that you are able to do) increase Dhikr (Remeberance of allah) increase Istighfaar and Durood sharif... do not miss any of the farz salaah and try & read extra salaah( nafil)

I understand you work so try and put as much prayers and duas in around you works time

other things to bear in mind are

Avoid all kinds of sins: Rasulullah said, "Many of those who fast get nothing out of it except hunger" (Nasa’ee) Advising his wife, once Rasulullah said, "O Aishah, refrain from even the minor sins because Allah will question you about them also." (Ibn Majah)

Do not become angry: Avoid all quarrels, fights, and arguments which may lead you to anger.

Use only Halal food bought by Halal earnings. Avoid all doubtful items.

Reduce the amount of:

1. Eating
2. Sleeping
3. Talking

Insha'allah we willput the extra info in this topic

Love and duas
